Camping at Little River State Beach

Overview

Little River State Beach is a serene, undeveloped stretch of sandy beach and dunes located in Northern California, near the towns of Trinidad and McKinleyville. It runs along the Pacific Coast and is bordered by Clam Beach County Park to the north and the mouth of the Little River to the south.

2. Patrick's Point State Park: Approximately 8 miles north of Little River State Beach, Patrick's Point offers more developed camping facilities, complete with campsites, RV sites, restrooms, and showers,

3. Harry A. Merlo State Recreation Area: Situated to the south, it offers more secluded camping experiences near the lagoon and in the redwood forest.

4. Azalea Glen RV Park & Campground: Located in McKinleyville, it's close by and offers both tent and RV camping with amenities.

5. Mad River Rapids RV Park: Also in McKinleyville, catering more towards RV campers.
