North Grove Campground is located within Calaveras Big Trees State Park in California, home to some of the oldest and most impressive giant sequoias. How to Get There

Calaveras Big Trees State Park is located off of Highway 4 in Calaveras County, California.

From Sacramento:

  • Take Highway 99 south to Stockton.
  • Switch to Highway 4 East and follow it to the park entrance.

From San Francisco Bay Area:

  • Take Interstate 580 east past Tracy.
  • Merge onto Interstate 205 toward Stockton.
  • Switch to Interstate 5 north and follow signs for Highway 4 East, leading to the park.
