Smokemont Campground is located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee, USA.   • Horseback Riding: Guided horseback rides are available, with the stables located near the campground.

  • Firewood: To prevent the spread of pests, the National Park Service strongly advises using heat-treated wood available from certified vendors in local communities.
