Location and Access

Gros Ventre Campground is located within Grand Teton National Park, in northwestern Wyoming near the town of Jackson. It is situated along the Gros Ventre River and is accessible via Gros Ventre Road. The entrance to the campground is approximately 11 miles southeast of Moose, Wyoming, and its location is excellent for exploring both the Teton Range and the Jackson Hole area.

Campsite Information

The campground features around 300 individual campsites, suitable for tents and RVs, though there are no hookups available for RVs. Sites are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis, but a selection of sites can be reserved in advance during the peak season. Gros Ventre Campground includes a mix of wooded and open sites, with some offering views of the Grand Teton. Amenities include campfire rings, picnic tables, flush toilets, and potable water. There are no electrical hookups, dump stations, or showers within the campground.
