Basic Information about Prophetstown State Park

Prophetstown State Park is a state park in Indiana, United States, named after a Native American village founded by the Shawnee leader Tecumseh and his brother Tenskwatawa (the Prophet) from which the park gets its name. The park is located near the town of Battle Ground, north of Lafayette, and dates back to 2004, making it one of Indiana's newer state parks. It showcases the area's unique prairie and river ecosystems and offers visitors a range of recreational activities.
