Location and Access

Beavertail Hill State Park is located in Montana, approximately 26 miles east of Missoula, off Interstate 90. The physical address for the park is 298 Beavertail Road, Clinton, MT 59825. Visitors can access the park by taking exit 130 from I-90 onto Beavertail Road and following the signs to the park entrance.

Camping Facilities

Beavertail Hill State Park offers a campground that is suitable for tents and RVs. The campground includes:

  • 28 campsites (mix of tent-only and RV sites)
  • Some sites offer electric hookups
  • A group camping area
  • Potable water
  • Modern restrooms (flush toilets, but no showers)
  • Fire pits and picnic tables at each site
  • RV dump station

Campsite reservations can be made through the Montana State Parks reservation system, and some sites may be held for first-come, first-served camping.
