Overview
South Beach State Park is a popular camping and recreation area located just south of the town of Newport on the central Oregon coast. It stretches from the Yaquina Bay bridge to the Pacific Ocean and encompasses a broad expanse of beach, dunes, and forest. Visitors can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, beachcombing, fishing, surfing, and wildlife viewing.

Facilities:

Campsite Rules:
- Quiet hours are typically observed from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and under control at all times.
- Alcohol is permitted only in the campground and for those of legal drinking age.
- Campfires must be contained to designated fire rings and must not be left unattended. There may be seasonal fire restrictions in place.
