Devils Head Campground is situated within the boundaries of the Pike and San Isabel National Forests, Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands (PSICC), a vast and beautiful expanse of public lands located in Colorado.

Access and Directions

To reach Devils Head Campground:

  1. Start from Sedalia, CO on State Highway 67.
  2. Drive south for approximately 10 miles.
  3. Turn west onto Rampart Range Road.
  4. Follow this for approximately 9.5 miles to the campground.

The last portion of Rampart Range Road is usually gravel and may be rough, so take caution when driving, especially with lower-clearance vehicles.

Campsite Information

Devils Head Campground typically operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Here are some key points about the campsites:

  • They usually do not offer electric hook-ups, so be prepared for a more rustic camping experience.
  • Campsites often include amenities like picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets.
