  • Scorpion Canyon Campground on Santa Cruz Island is the most popular due to its proximity to the mainland and amenities.

  • Campgrounds typically have picnic tables and pit toilets.
  • There is no food service on the islands, so you must bring all your supplies.
  • Water is available at the Scorpion Canyon Campground on Santa Cruz Island and the Water Canyon Camp on Santa Rosa Island. However, on other islands, you need to bring all the water you will need.

Transportation to Islands:

  • Access to any of the islands requires a boat or a plane trip from the mainland. Several park concessionaires offer boat services.
  • Private boats can also be used to reach the islands.

Activities:

  • Hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and wildlife viewing are highly popular.
  • With minimal light pollution, stargazing is exceptional.

Wildlife and Natural Preservation:
